A number of important IT initiatives, e.g. new installs, product replacements, new locations, etc., don’t fall neatly under the managed services umbrella.  We perform these as Consulting and Special Projects.  Often they have a fixed-cost and always involve our team of experts.  We provide fixed-cost or estimated quotes for a predefined Statement of Work (SOW.)  Where possible, we prefer to have a working Managed Services agreement in place before implementing projects for a client, as this ensures we can keep the new hardware or software running well. One advantage in new hardware projects is that we are able to purchase and configure the hardware ourselves so that there is one company responsible for the entire project, start to finish. The pre-planning and project management for each project are included in the quoted price.
